St Patrick’s Festival 2013

 

Ireland’s National Holiday dedicated to its spiritual patron Saint Patrick, celebrated on March 17, will bring to people in Bucharest Irish music concerts, a floats parade, Irish dance performances, balls and official receptions.

 

 

 

 

 

Saint Patrick’s festival 2013 will start on March 15 with a Gala Ball held at the JW Marriott hotel. Guests of honor of the event will be the Romanian singer Ducu Bertzi, followed by The Romanian Soprano Felicia Filip, Irish dance troupe « The Irish Way », the Irish traditional music band Coras and the vocalist Aoife Dermody.

 

On March 17, Calea Victoriei and the streets of Old Town will hear the traditional rhythms and see the Irish dances. The parade will end with an outdoors concert, where Irish and Romanian bands will perform.
