Street Delivery, an annual event that brings culture to the streets in Bucharest and Timisoara will start this week-end, on Arthur Verona Street, near the Magheru boulevard in the capital, and on Florimund de Mercy street in Timisoara. Organized by the Carturesti foundation and the Architects Order in Romania, the event, now in its 7th edition, mixes urban development, architecture and art in Romania’s two biggest cities. In previous editions, 20,000 to 30,000 pedestrians and cyclists attended the event.
The community and pedestrians have a chance to retake their city in the event running between June 15 and 17, with the street will be closed to motorized traffic. In Timisoara, Florimund de Mercy street will also be closed down.
